Did you ever see that episode of Extreme Home Makeover, where the teenage boy was obsessed with duct tape and they ended up making nearly everything in his room from duct tape for him? I bet he would love love love this couch. It's not actually that ugly if you don't think about the tape aspect of it, and think of it as shiny leather...?
...er, shiny PLEATHER! hehe
There is a practical thought to this one. I have cats that like to scratch my couch, I could just duct tape it then repair as needed... Also duct tape now comes in an assortment of colours... I am liking this idea more and more
